Sections entry tickets for the IAA European Summit
Starting today, those who wish to be part of IAA European Summit have the possibility of obtaining a one section ticket. The cost of such a ticket is 200€/section.
Driven by the necessity of responding in a direct way to the increasing number of professionals interested by the various domains of communication and marketing from Romania, but also by the need of exposing them to the practical experience brought by the top speakers, the organizing committee of IAA Summit took the decision of putting up for sale section entry tickets.
"We took this strategic decision as a result of requests IAA received from its members, taking into consideration that each section represents by itself an opportunity for the middle management professionals to participate in the section they choose, while the summit, as a whole, addresses rather to the top management", explained Diana Flutur, Summit Director.
"We expect on CSR section to rather have marketing, corporate affairs and PR departments, while the Legislation and Self Regulation section may attract the legal and corporate affairs departments. On the other hand, we expect professionals from all departments to the communication dedicated section", declared Razvan Gavrilescu, Summit Organizer.
For only 200€, participants will have access to the section they choose and will make contact with 8 international speakers. Registrations take place directly to the IAA House, contact person: Aurelian Neagu, aurelian.neagu@iaa.ro, 031.105.09.91.

Global Head of Media at Synovate, Steve Garton will speak in the Communication Planning seminar about challenges and opportunities for marketers in the new user-generated content world
Steve Garton is another important name that announces his participation in the IAA European Summit. On the 27th of September 2007, at the Parliament Palace in Bucharest, Steve Garton, the Global Head of Media of Synovate, holds a presentation which sets out the challenges and opportunities for marketers as their audiences refer to digital content.
"In this age, which is increasingly user-generated, information is more fragmented and more consumer-controlled. International media trend studies conducted by Synovate point to the need to create time with the consumer, rather than buying time. In the age of perpetual partial attention, the word 'advertising' is being replaced by 'communication', implying a two-way process", declared Steve Garton. In this context, his presentation will focus upon consumer behaviour and will analyse the way consumers multi-task across media platforms, and also demonstrate how and what mobile content is popular. "In the age where brands are becoming an experience, online media presents a unique opportunity for the consumer to participate and share in brand development", Steve Garton affirmed.
About Steve Garton
Steve Garton has worked on the client, advertising agency, media owner and market research sides of the business, based in the UK, Australasia, and Asia Pacific. He has developed entirely new services for sectors such as the Internet, and built multi-regional surveys such as PAX, the currency for upscale audiences in Asia Pacific, Middle East and beyond.
He is particularly focused on the discovery of new insights into the relationship between media and its audiences, and how digital technology will influence the future of advertising.
Steve is a frequent public speaker at major international events and holds an MA at Oxford University.
